The Export Achievement Awards are the NSBI’s most prestigious event of the year, with this being the 34th edition of the awards. The award luncheon was held at historic Pier 21 in Halifax, and featured speeches from Ross Simmonds of Foundation Marketing, and the Right Honourable Premier of Nova Scotia, Stephen McNeil.
Nova Scotia’s finest companies were up for awards in five categories: New Exporter Champion of the Year, Business of Diversity Champion of the Year, Canadian Market Champion of the Year, International Market Champion of the Year (nominee), and Innovation in Business Champion of the Year (nominee, winner).
“Congratulations to all the award winners and nominees,” said Premier McNeil. “Your hard work and passion for your business is admirable and will no doubt inspire others to step into exporting.”
