Details
InterTalk’s proven track record in providing emergency dispatch equipment with standards-based architecture makes the InterTalk Dispatch Console System (DCS) a perfect choice for agencies that require a highly cost-effective method of integrating different voice and data communications.
InterTalk’s commitment to open standards and to develop flexible, exact-fit, off-the-shelf dispatch console solutions gives us the ability to stay ahead of everchanging dispatch equipment needs, so your agency can focus on the critical tasks at hand.
True Compatibility & Integration
The InterTalk DCS is an IP-based dispatch console that interfaces with all types of legacy analog radio, digital P25 radio, telephone network, intercom, and data applications, providing an integrated, seamless dispatch console experience for the end-user. Because the InterTalk Dispatch Console System is manufactured with COTS equipment, there is no need to worry about replacing proprietary technology down the road.
Superior Architecture
The InterTalk DCS’s superior architecture and resource management capabilities are industry-leading. InterTalk DCS utilizes a scalable core that can support any number of endpoints and dispatch console positions, allowing the console to interface with any 3rd party systems. Simply add Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) or Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to InterTalk for a unified system at your fingertips. Because the InterTalk Dispatch Console System provides a fully scalable architecture, the number of dispatch console positions can grow along with your agency.
99.999% Redundancy
The InterTalk Dispatch Console System is typically equipped with at least two ILS servers to ensure hot standby redundancy. ILS servers load share across your network and provide complete redundancy should an ILS fail, ensuring there is never a gap in your critical communications network if the unforeseen occurs.
Customize Your Experience
The InterTalk Dispatch Console boasts a fully configurable user experience (UX). Because every user has different preferences, we have ensured vital aspects of the UX can be tailored to personal preferences, including font (style, size, color), screen (color, buttons, borders), and module sizing and placement on the screen. With unparalleled flexibility, the InterTalk DCS’s UX integrity is maintained with both touchscreen and point-and-click displays.
Truly Integrated Voter & Logging Recorder
The InterTalk Dispatch Console System offers the industry’s only truly console-integrated voter and logging recorder solution, with our Citadel IP Radio Gateway and Transcript products. We achieve true integration by having the voter and logging recorder software built right into our dispatch console system, an industry first and only. There is no external voter or logging hardware required aside from the InterTalk Dispatch Console System itself, saving your agency money and headaches down the road. Simply install future software upgrades on your system, no hardware replacement and re-installation or configuration needed. As your agency grows, add more archiving space with a COTS hard drive – it’s that easy.
