What is CRIS?
The California Radio Interoperable System (CRIS) provides a statewide public safety, interoperable radio system which allows all participating agencies the ability to communicate seamlessly internally as well as integrate without developing their own systems. Providing a high-degree of 700 MHz radio coverage across the State of California, this Phase 2 Trunked P25 system allows first responders to communicate effectively across their typical jurisdictional boundaries during emergencies.
