HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA – June 13, 2019 – InterTalk Critical Information Systems is very pleased to announce that we have won an award in the “Innovation in Business Champion of the Year” category at the 2019 Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI) Export Awards, held on June 12, 2019. It was a great event for InterTalk, as we were also finalists in the “International Market Champion of the Year” category. This is the second year in a row InterTalk has been honoured with an award in the “Innovation” category by NSBI.
The Export Awards are the NSBI’s biggest event of the year, with 2019 being the 35th edition of the awards. The award luncheon was held at the new Halifax Convention Centre, and featured a roundtable discussion with some of Nova Scotia’s brightest business leaders, moderated by the Honourable Geoff MacLellan, Nova Scotia’s Business Minister. The event also featured a recorded congratulatory message to all category nominees from Premier Stephen MacNeil.
Nova Scotia’s finest companies were up for awards in five categories, with InterTalk nominated in two of these categories: New Exporter Champion of the Year (won by Site2020), Business of Diversity Champion of the Year (won by Peace by Chocolate), Canadian Market Champion of the Year (won by Totally Raw Pet Food), International Market Champion of the Year (nominee, won by MetOcean Telematics), and Innovation in Business Champion of the Year (nominee, won by InterTalk).
InterTalk is honoured and humbled to be recognized once again as one of the best and most innovative companies the province has to offer!
